The jet from Asturias is beyond doubt one of the best from all world. It h been worked since prehistory ( some bead was found in Oviedo, 19000 years of antiquity) it have a great importance cultural and antropologic. This material as the Jade in China or the Amber in Europe it´s an important cultural part from who use it material. The jet from Asturias use to be worked in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia) where exist the jeters brotherhoods, the wich one before had the exclusive in Spain.
