Cinnabar (toxic material )
The Cinnabar has a big and confused history. It´s been used since prehistory like a pigment. Also was used for to take the mercury,( in Almadén since 400 years b.C.) In the midle age was used for the alquimists. In China was very appreciated like a material for to do small objects. More actually has been cut in Italy.
