  • The name comes due the crystals forms. It´s found in crystals, stalactites, aggregates. It has differents colours: colourless, white, yellow, orange, red, green, blue, violet, brown. Sometimes with a band colours. Transparent to translucent. Sheen vitreous-nacred.
  • Localities in the Península Ibérica: a lot in the north zone: Asturias, Cantabria, Guipúzcoa. Also in Murcia, Teruel, Barcelona, Lleida, Tarragona...
  • Treataments: unknown.
  • Confusions: With Smithsonite, turquoise, crisocola etc.
  • Gemologicals uses: in jewellery in cab.
