  • The name comes from the greek aer = air, due the blue sky colour.
  • It founds in earthy aggregates, fibrous.
  • Blue colour, blue-green or blue sky.
  • Treatments: It´s quite difficult to polish. Maybe whit impregnation of wax, should be easier. We have not constance.
  • Confusions: To others blue stones: Sodalite, Lapislazuli,
  • Localities: Lleida and Huesca.
  • Gemologicals uses: Not usual in jewelery due the difficulty in polish it. Used like a colouring.
